Thank you for speaking so honestly, we genuinely appreciate how direct and thoughtful your feedback has been. You’ve raised very fair and important concerns, and we like to give you our thoughts on them.

To address your biggest worry first: your files are absolutely safe. They are stored securely in our cloud infrastructure and protected by multiple layers of encryption and redundancy. No one has access to your data but you, and no content is ever shared or altered without your explicit action. You don’t need to worry about your files disappearing or being accessed by anyone else. We cater to thousands of happy users and a business with thousands of users don’t just vanish. We plan to stay for a long long time.

Regarding the Windows app, you are correct. Our current Windows app does not yet function as a complete sync client. It is stable on Windows 10, however, compatibility with Windows 11 is still being worked on. Please keep in mind that we have expert developers looking into making sure the app is 100% ready for our users. Your feedback about progress indicators, background sync verification, and better error handling is completely valid, and please know that it helps us to hear your suggestions.

Right now, our development focus is on perfecting the web dashboard to ensure the most reliable cloud experience possible. Once that foundation is 100% solid, our next major milestone will be a new and improved desktop version with the features you’ve requested.

Even though Blomp is currently in the beta phase, we are never planning on giving up on it. Blomp is still very much alive, and we’re working hard to bring back the confidence of users like you. Your feedback is always useful and we appreciate it.
