Security

Post by roshbo » Wed Dec 02, 2020 10:30 pm

1. Are files secured in transit from my Z drive to your server? HTTPS, SSL, TLS etc.
2. Once files are at rest on your servers, are they encrypted?
3. Unfortunately, every disk can fail, are files backed up at multiple locations to guard against drive failure and data loss. Also, are the files encrypted if housed at multiple locations?
4. And finally, who actually has access to all users files?

Hi, welcome to Blomp.

All communications with our servers are encrypted, yes.
Multiple obfuscated copies of data are stored in multiple locations, yes.
Users are free to encrypt their data before they send it to Blomp so no Blomp personnel have access to their data...
