harddrive

Post by kyleblomps » Sat Dec 05, 2020 3:12 pm

I feel stupid asking this, but im wondering if I upload all my files, pics, videos etc to Blomp, and I delete them from my hard drive. Do they get deleted from BLOMP also like my icloud does. :?:

I guess I wanna use blomp sort of like an online harddrive if that makes sense. :D :?:

Great question!

You can absolutely use Blomp like your hard drive -- across multiple devices including mobile.

Blomp doesn't delete things based on the contents of your device. You tell Blomp what to delete.

Great Blomping!!

Hello, I would like to make suggestions to Blomp Android, hoping to improve it. Android app has no recycle station, no post-download directory, and no mobile file function. Please strengthen and improve it. Otherwise, it will be very troublesome to use! I have been using the web to upload ~Also, sometimes cloud disk files are out of sync with the software with the software, and refreshing doesn't work either :(

The caching on the mobile apps is a little off and we have it in our plans to fix these items. When you say recycle station -- you mean a delete button? Post-download directory -- do you mean a where do we store these files option?

I don't understand what you mean by a mobile file function.

We have new versions of the app in development right now... so we are hoping to be able to improve on our current system soon.

Best,

Yes. After accidentally deleting the file, you need to Retrieve it. There is also the need to add file movement functionality👍
What do you mean by file movement functionality? Put into Blomp and delete the source?

thanks!

Sorry, I didn't explain it correctly, it is to move the file to another directory!

The web interface has move/rename I believe. All of the live clients will too.

Thanks -- we appreciate your feedback
