Re: BlompInstall Windows 10 - Runtime error

I installed Blomp on Windows 10 64-bit system and when I ran Blomp, it didn't open and gave the following error: r0053380.png As advised, I uninstalled and re-installed but it didn't work. I downloaded the missing dll file from this https://www.dll-files.com/vcruntime140_1.dll.html and placed it in...

just signed on so still reading but how long will files be stored on the 20gb free plan?
Hi.

Welcome Blomper!

As long as you keep your account active, you can freely store 20G (up to 200G with friend referrals) forever. We don't have sort of thing where we kick you off!

Best,

Re: Using rsync

Hi Blomper! The easiest way to use Blomp with rsync would be to use BlompGo or rclone with Blomp. Then rsync to/from the virtual drive. rsync by itself does not support object storage and there is no immediate plan on the roadmap of rsync for that... as far as we know, it hasn't been updated since 2...

Re: Super technical security update. (DNSSEC)

Hey Blomper!

You're right. Firefox has implemented DNS-over-HTTPS (DOH) which should protect your DNS queries from your ISP knowing where you are going. Our DNSSEC will only help improve security and privacy and Firefox's DOH providers love us. :)

Re: Expandrive/CloudMounter Configuration

How do i use Blomp with Expandrive or CloudMounter? Hi! Neither package seems to support Openstack Swift at this time. We are going to reach out to them and see how we can help them add support for Blomp directly. We provide BlompGo (based on Rclone) and BlompLive -- mobile and desktop clients that...

Re: What is the file upload limit?

Hi There Bright! There is no real limit to file sizes. Your software (or ours) will take care of very large files. The technical answer is that a single file chunk is limited to 5GB, but you can have an unlimited number of chunks. We've successfully tested 40GB files through the Web UI and know even...

Super technical security update. (DNSSEC)

Among the many behind-the-scenes security improvements we are making all the time, today we are preparing to rollout DNSSEC. DNSSEC strengthens the internet domain name system (DNS) using public key cryptography. This means you can trust the underlying DNS data more than without it. For more informa...
