I have setup an account 2TB, if I would like to extend it to 10TB, what should I do ?

it is requesting me to cancel the old plan to upgrade which if I do it all my files will be lost? Also, does it is pro-rated price? or it will be deduct the new amount and the old plan will be gone ...
