Whether you run an enterprise-level company or an SME, write a blog, or just need somewhere to store your vacation photos, you use cloud storage. One of the greatest innovations of the last few years, cloud storage has revolutionized the way we work, collaborate, and keep our digital possessions saf...

Re: Bug - Found reason why Chunking does not work

Clearly, we aren't communicating very well, and I'm sorry for that. I created a 6gb file and tried uploading it with swift: dd if=/dev/zero of=6gb bs=1024000 count=6000 6000+0 records in 6000+0 records out 6144000000 bytes (6.1 GB, 5.7 GiB) copied, 15.5796 s, 394 MB/s swift upload --segment-size 107...

Re: Bug - Found reason why Chunking does not work

@BlompTeam and @BlompSupport It is amazing that you ignored what I was saying and simply did not check. As you all the time claim that I am either using rclone which you do use too or that I am using union drive which has nothing to do with reasons, as last you might clame it is my local settings p...

Re: Dashboard feels much quicker

After forum was unreachable today due to SQL error, I noticed now that browsing through files is much quicker than it was before. Did you make any changes and where could we see changelog or what has been changed/fixed? Is there an overview? Thank you. As you know, we try to keep the Blomp service ...

Re: Successfully uploaded 370G.img to union drive

We don't write rclone or the chunker. Swift or S3 doesn't care how you chunk. If you want the object store to reassemble the files for you, the manifest must exist in each container. If rclone union has some other way, that is fine, but it has nothing to do with the way Swift sees or represents the...

Re: S3 config

@BlompSupport I do not know if I understood you wrongly, but you said that s3 and swift are available, as swift has issues and s3 anyway is better in dealing with large files, what would be the settings for blomp s3 remote in rclone? I've tried few but none work, something like this: [blomp-s3] typ...

Re: Successfully uploaded 370G.img to union drive

Moved this topic to Technical since its a little too technical for general. I think what you are seeing is mechanics between rclone and object storage. for any file that is chunked, the segments are loaded and the manifest is uploaded. If these aren't complete, you will get in determinant results b...

Re: Compressed file shows as a folder

Thank you Debian, I think the beta version shall be improved much in the future. Some of my sharing files won't work, i copy the sharing links and send to my friends for test, those link won't work; nothing happens when pasting them in my friends' browsers. Did you set the share links as open to al...
